About filmography

In this post, I will talk about my favourite film, director and other whatnots in the film industry.

First of all, I'd like to state that my favourite movie(s) is The Lord of the Rings trilogy, since not only is it the adaption of one of my all-time favourite books, but also because personally speaking, they are the perfect example of masterfully set and filmed movies.

Even though Lord of the Rings is my favourite, a close second would be Forrest Gump, because of the tenderness of its main character, Forrest, and its plot.

 I'm no expert in directing movies nor acting, and even though I know they play a crucial role in whether the film is succesful or not, I don't tend to focus on how the movie has been filmed nor the acting, unless these elements are either brilliantly done or poorly executed.

That being said, my favourite director is Peter Jackson, famously known for directing the Lord of the Rings movies. I regard him as my favourite director, mainly, because of the incredible work he did directing the Lord of the Rings movies, which were said to be impossible to film, due to its large scale. 

To be honest, I don't really have a favourite actor, but I guess that if I had to choose one, I woud undoubtedly choose Tom Hanks owing to its performance as Forrest Gump.
